Panchayat Season 4: Jitendra Kumar Returns as Phulera Faces Its Toughest Election Yet

Prime Video has just dropped the trailer of the highly anticipated Panchayat Season 4, and it’s everything fans have been waiting for — and more. Set to premiere on June 24, 2025, the series once again brings alive the rural charm of Phulera village, now brewing with political tension and humour in equal measure.

Created by Deepak Kumar Mishra and Chandan Kumar, and produced by The Viral Fever (TVF), Panchayat stars the ever-reliable Jitendra Kumar, Neena Gupta, and Raghubir Yadav in lead roles. The new season is directed by Deepak Kumar Mishra and Akshat Vijaywargiya, while Chandan Kumar continues as the writer.

The trailer hints at a lively showdown between Manju Devi and Kranti Devi, two strong contenders vying for the position of village head. And as always, Panchayat uses its simple setting to spin stories full of humour, social insight, and heart. This season promises an intense political tug-of-war, transforming the usually quiet village of Phulera into a full-blown carnival of slogans, shade, and strategic whispers.

The ensemble cast also includes Faisal Malik, Chandan Roy, Sanvikaa, Durgesh Kumar, Sunita Rajwar, and Pankaj Jha — each adding their unique flavour to the Phulera chaos.

According to the official synopsis, “As both camps race to outshine and out-scheme the other, Phulera transforms into a carnival of chaos. While the smiles are wide and slogans louder, behind the scenes it’s all about planting whispers, questioning each other’s values, and throwing just enough shade to keep things spicy.”

Speaking about the show, Jitendra Kumar shared,

“Panchayat is a great example of authentic storytelling that resonates across geographies, age groups, and viewing preferences. Its humour, charm, and grounded characters have turned it into a cultural phenomenon. We’re thrilled to bring fans another exciting chapter.”

Writer Chandan Kumar added,

“Writing Panchayat has been a journey of deep discovery and gratitude. What makes this series special is how each season builds organically — keeping the soul intact while opening doors for fresh stories.”

With Season 4 just around the corner, Panchayat promises to serve not just village politics, but another helping of warmth, wit, and wonder that fans have come to love.
